ok... After countless listens I sincerely think that something really rare & peculiar is happening on this record; that nothing short of an elusive spirit, or state of the author's mind, has been captured on the A1 side, like a genie into a bottle. (by the way I can hear something similar on Jori Hulkkonen's "The Spirits Inside Me"). Records like this don't come out very often. This is a soul speaking like someone said, or ghost in the machine if you will (as a metaphor for all electronic music).. Kudos Mathew. You did an outstanding job here. ❤️

"Drawn From The Side Of Crime" is MJ at his best working the carefree melodics in. Totally fresh sounding track I noticed he started to get a little samey sounding with some of his releases. I'd play "Drawn From The Side Of Crime" if I were doing a sunrise set and I needed to zone people out but keep them standing. Its a real piece of gorgeous and subtle art. I can picture Sven Vath dropping this just like he used to with Marionette.
